ooh ooh ooh Humdinger are now doing these, available from health food shops and supermarkets and Goodness Direct here They are really delicious on cakes along with their darker counterparts….

Chocolate mint layer cake made by a clever friend who is generally good at making things (recipe now in the comments below)
White chocolate mousse with red berries. Melt about 100g of cocoa butter and blend into a block of silken tofu with some icing sugar and vanilla…

These and many other gorgeous vegan and wheat free goodies from Lazy Day Foods here in Scotland Some National Trust places had them in their cafes last year – hope they still do Also stocked by Goodness Direct

seeds and scones
Had a most industrious day – planted up seed trays with aubergine, sage, lettuce, rocket, brocolli and chilli pepper seeds - greenhouse has expanded our repetoire, more to come yet :)

ladybird
Couldn’t help myself in the end – I had to make something seasonal. Recipe very similar to this except I used spelt flour.
Not exactly going out like a lamb then – it’s really cold. We saw our first ladybird a couple of days ago in the woods though – look very hard in the picture [...]
