I think the flowers that stir up most enthusiasm and anticipation of spring are daffodills amd crocus, definately. But I do love the way that snowdrops are so hardy and can withstand alot of cold. And the way they droop is like fairies hats… or is that the stories I tell my kids ha ha!

Very nice photo! Snowdrops encourage, reminding one to be patient, spring is coming. And they are lovely flowers.

that is just spectacular! I have never seen so many in one spot! We have alot here but not all together like that. Have also noticed crocuses already, def a month early! It always brightens my mood to know that spring is on its way!

They were really unusual ice formations on an old fence post, it looked like a furry creature!

I luv reading your blogs from the opposite end of the world. Today I went to the Australian Tennis Open (Melbourne,Australia), temperature 32degrees celcius. Hot but not too hot!!
However I remember the cold in Aberdeenshire; an Aussie in Peterhead and Crimond. Soup is a wonderful thing!!!
