Strange day today where a slight disaster led to us doing totally unintended things such as visiting the Wallace and Gromit exhibition at Satrosphere. It was very good, also being about other animation and techniques etc.

Wow – the sun is intense just now though there’s a very autumnal feel in the air too. Love it.

Chocolate mint layer cake made by a clever friend who is generally good at making things (recipe now in the comments below)
White chocolate mousse with red berries. Melt about 100g of cocoa butter and blend into a block of silken tofu with some icing sugar and vanilla…

not in a mafia style way but a ‘lovely hot day, need to be in the sea’ type way

Gorgeous hot weather continues… gooseberries and rasps from the garden are making their way into the breakfast smoothies now Talking of smoothies, the green smoothie blog has been added to the sidebar, lots of good ideas there.
The clearout has reached the kids wardrobes so many more puzzles and educational games are up here
