among the snowdrops
more snow… some little bits I’ve been meaning to mention spread among the lovely signs of spring to come
Wayne Dyer’s new program: Excuses Begone! – been enjoying listening to that – he is always so motivational and uplifting.

garden bits
more garden pics… Planning to just be out there today with my book
Weve all been working very hard recently and some r&r is in order I think. The kids put in a whole days hard labour to do this for winter:
They were very careful not to disturb this gentleman too much – he lives in [...]
good things going on in the world
Firstly, friends of ours are now running a self catering ‘gite’ in the South of France for vegetarians and vegans – it all looks so beautiful: Le Mimosa (link deactivated as no longer running)
Next this fab compilation of recipes, been leafing through it hungrily this morning Has a bit about veganism, then soups, mains, desserts, [...]
Look Me in the Eye

birthday
Charlotte is now 13 :D She had a good birthday – started very early indeed watching her gift from Daniel – The Simpsons Movie. Later on we went to the cinema to see The Golden Compass – all thoroughly enjoyed that. I had read the book some time ago and thought it captured the atmosphere well. [...]
let there be light
lots of lights :D Davie had fun with some that the previous owners left us:
Looks very nice out there in the dark
Then in a strange and wonderful ‘great minds and all that’ moment, we received our gifts from the gorgeous Cat. Davie and me have not worn ours yet so they’ll appear in time ;) [...]
lovelies
these arrived in the post this morning:
Book are for review from Grub Street publishers and all look very good at first glance. Strawberries in chocolate are a thank you from the Dr. Hadwen Trust for mentioning them in the vegan family mailing list – they don’t have to pay me at all but I’m not [...]
starry skies equate to…?
… sorry, pitiful attempt at clever title…
Played musical pairs with the snap – goes perfectly with our current piano practice :)
Equate in the sun yesterday - lovely weather continues (colder today though).
Kids made vegetable and barley soup with lots of bits from the garden too.
Stunning skies last night – don’t know when I’ve seen so many stars. [...]
