fox in the snow

snow and trees
A stroll round the garden yesterday:
Wonderful things that help us through the Scottish winter: hot water bottles filled from the big kettle on the wood stove each night, so cosy for the feet and full spectrum light bulbs, good for the mood in the dark times
Gatekeeper
Think were going to have a quiet Halloween this year. Last years party was fantastic but am in lazy mode right now Being scared by the Gatekeeper and munching on scary chocolate and pumpkin soup will suffice…

flower of Scotland
Beautiful country this in many ways… feel lucky to live here.
landed at my feet on a walk:
Reading Agnes Grey and being strongly reminded of what it was like to work in a Steiner school… off to make leek and potato soup, tis soup season… not quite this season yet but ooh… that looks good!
