lovely herbs and the unintended
Cat has a wonderful new website: The Tasty Herbalist - go see Strange day today where a slight disaster led to us doing totally unintended things such as visiting the Wallace and Gromit exhibition at Satrosphere. It was very good, also being about other animation and techniques etc. Related posts:mainly sudokuloud chat and mountainsgrowth

swan lake
There were swans on the loch yesterday Had a lovely day with friends morphing into a very balletic afternoon which was great fun. It’s been wonderful rediscovering ballet being for enjoyment, rather than an eternal striving (not to mention starving) for perfection. just when you worry that the world is mad…
…with stories of a dinner lady sacked for telling the truth about bullying (I can vouch for such an act being akin to this, though stoning is done with tongues and a twisting of the truth these days in this country) and two policewomen being prevented from looking after each others children by Ofsted… Worry [...]

Standing with Stones
This is a wonderful documentary about Britain and Ireland’s ancient sites. A very mellow and informative watch… inspires you to get out there and explore the ancient past in your own area. It includes the better known sites but also many lesser heard of ones with stories from local folklore, the presenter’s theories and observations… a [...]

Not been feeling very blogworthy but I have been putting together these things, old and new that weve enjoyed, used, made or found or refound in the last weeks.
