I believe Black Swan is nominated for a British film Award for Best Picture, Natalie Portman for Leading Actress, Barbara Hershey as Supporting Actress and Darren Aronofsky as Director. I thought Jenny would fancy it (as an ex-ballet class girl), but she saw the trailer and thought it had a lot of horror in it. Is it a horror film? (Buffy’s about our stretch…
)
It does have horror elements, not physically worse than things in Buffy, but it’s the psychological presentation that makes it scarier. Dancer’s seem to be liking it, people who think ballet is all pink fluff are not… Charlotte was okay with it. It’s a 15 cert.
