Are you snowed in ?…pretty bad here but girls loving it already made snowman and angels and is not even 8 am !!
too much cake? what is this phrase? a metaphor of some kind???
we only have a little snow, but it’s still coming down…
Too much cake…. No, I’m not familiar, myself, with this concept…..
Those two guys look VERY sweet. As sweet as the cake!
We’ve had a heavy frost (in central Scotland) so the garden looks nice and wintery and Tom has just burst through the catflap with a very cold coat!
Hi Lucy, so glad I found your blog! We attempted to go vegan a while ago but found it so hard witht he lack of ‘knowledge’. Love all the recipes! We are relocating from Cape Town South Africa to the Scottish Highlands in August 2010 – so nice to know that there are fellow home educators up North!
Blessings
Shirley
I think I might just make a log this year, was going to make a large chocolate cake for my boys and an apricot loaf for me. I think they will get a log instead. I’m not too keen on sweet stuff so one piece of chocolate cake is my limit I let them eat the rest, also I hate buttercream yuck. I do like apricot loaf though as it is very fragrant and fruity
Let me know when you get here Shirley and I’ll send you an invite to the Northern Scotland group
apricot loaf sounds nice.
