Reading Agnes Grey and being strongly reminded of what it was like to work in a Steiner school… off to make leek and potato soup, tis soup season… not quite this season yet but ooh… that looks good!

I really can’t decide about chocolate advent calendars. Davey hasn’t had one yet and I am going to resist again. Right now he has a reindeer with 24 pockets and we put a little something in a pocket each day. So far we have managed to do this without him knowing and just about convinced him that reindeer is magic, he took a bit more persuading last year and I suspect will not believe us this year. When he was 2, 3 and 4 the joy when he discovered that reindeer had delivered was wonderful :) He will be 6 in a couple fo weeks so I suspect we are moving in the direction of chocolate advent calendars, I guess it will make life easier as we won’t have to work out what to put in the pocket each day

It’s all ages and stages. My two are not that interested in them now so I usually end up having to eat all the chocolates myself! The hardships we bear for our children… :D

Oh I love advent calanders – we never get too old do we. By the way, I bought some Mulu Chocolate(silk),actually I went on a rampage and bought loads, but it really does but the others to shame!

    I saw a calander on The Ethical Superstore I want, I think that’s Montezuma’s.

Agnes Grey, you put me to shame. I live in Haworth (home of the brontes) and I have only ever read Wuthering Heights lol…well OK, I watched the film and read the first page…still I tried lol.

It’s amazing too the picture of the butterfly, Im seeing them everywhere! And then I clicked on the blog and bam first pic what do I see lol! That is an amazing picture, so close up and so beautiful!

you do have to adjust to the older style of writing with the Brontes.. but they’re great :)

there are a lot of butterflies this autumn – nothing odd about your writing :)
