raindrops

Torrentially pouring again… been down and opened up cold frame and polytunnel to give them the benefit too. There’s a new recipe up on frugal here for radish top soup, an excellent idea, must remember to grow some radish this year.

Listening to Wayne dyer’s 101 ways to transform your life this morning while doing yoga – very mellowing :)

Having a bit of a sort out here so many bits being put up on amazon marketplace here, lots of books and outgrown educational games etc. Still to tackle the most cluttered place of all… hall drawer units, so no doubt more to come…

Can’t do a post with no picture! So here’s a raindrop on pine… I suspect it will be rather wetter in there today :D

Oh! I wish I hadn’t taken a look at the books you’re selling! I want to be home-educating again… Why do you always do this to me???

I miss the days of maths games too… wish we’d got organised sooner with home ed, but it’s exciting moving on to new phases and ways of being too :)

just had a look at your Amazon stuff, and I want to buy half of it at least!!! The spelling workbooks look good – I’ve been looking for something along those lines for a while now.
Will have to go and work out what I can afford now ;)

poor radishes… though I guess they don’t care who eats them :)

don’t feel obliged to get them from me Kara, as some of those might be cheaper from others… but I will refund some of the postage if you buy more than one thing, as they charge it all individually regardless :)

  7. admin says:

Thank you so much Kara :) I’ve refunded a good bit of your postage and am chucking in a couple of extra workbooks of similar ilk – Charlotte did one page from each so not sellable but might be of use to you and A :)

Lucy, not sure if you’ve been looking at SV recently, but we’ve a new member who’s just moved to Aberdeenshire. Don’t know how close to you… Her daughter’s 9 months.

About maths. We had a ‘Maths Club’ with another home-edding boy we knew. Once a month we’d set up maths games around the house, he and his mum would visit and have lunch with us and we’d play the games together. It was good fun!

I switched all my yahoo groups (except ones I mod) to no mail a while back but I’ve been and sent her a message, though that is quite far from us – thanks for letting me know :)

the maths club sounds good fun :D
