Basic vanilla sponge recipe like this one (minus the choc chips and pecans mentioned there obviously). Blend a punnet of rasps (keep some back for decoration) with a carton of Granovita’s Creamovita (this is really thick like whipping cream) and some icing sugar – fill and cover cake with this
It’s VERY VERY good!

These creamy white buttons make the most amazing white hot chocolate! See Cat's recipe on The Modern Housewife blog.

yummy scrummy, definitely Lucy, raspberries are my 16yr olds favourite fruit, I will be making that this week, thank you! I really dislike going to the shops during school holidays, why does everyone say “oh it won’t be long before their back at school, bet you’ll be glad” Grrr WHY do people presume we us mums dread having our darlings home!I have loved this holiday, we have been doing so much, making things, gardening, cooking etc, I love it when they are home and am dreading a week tomorrow, when they go back (poor Haz is too)!I am trying to persuade Jen (my other half )for us to move to Wales I have seen the most gorgeous Georgian 4 bed 3 rec house 5 mins from sea!Even found 2 little pubs in village that do real ale, for him!!!!Hey Ho!Love & light to you lovely ,folkx

Mmm that looks delicious – that would make a great birthday cake for my daughter who will be 7 in July, loves pink and raspberries!
I used that recipe, adapted to be coffee and chocolate, for her dad’s birthday cake in November too – best vegan cake recipe I have found – thank you.
It is a great cake – still good today though cream looks at it’s best when freshly made. Very slightly separated looking today.
We also all used to long for the school holidays and dread their end too Becky – think all my friends do as well so it’s a bit of an assumption, maybe just jokey chat? house sounds lovely
