Both Dan and I chose him for our Dickens watercolours:

Really enjoying the beautiful writing in the book – were all so familiar with the dialogue but not how well worded it all is. Speaking of well worded, were working through the ‘Improve Your Word Power’ book from the book people - very informative. We did the vocabularly range test last night and are all ‘above average’ for adults. So we should be, all the fine literature weve read in our two and a half years of home ed ;) Bit out of date and incomplete that page, needs stuff adding such as The Growing Pains of Adrian Mole which were reading together now, the only one in the series Dan hasn’t read. Another book we read right back at the beginning and have failed to add is Ballet Shoes – see there’s going to be a drama of it on TV over Christmas
Lovely high quality paints (not exactly the same set) – bought these on the kids last day of school and they’re still going strong :D I had a lovely day buying every kind of art supply and stationery you can imagine.

A nice meal we had yesterday – giant mushroom (rub with olive oil) with tofutti garlic and herb, chopped fresh basil and peppers. Cook in oven for about 20 minutes at 200C.

Strange view of Christmas tree through Cat’s holographic specs:
