Received our first Christmas card today in the post. Decided to get out my cards and address book containing the gradually expanding list – not as bad as the 25 million CB apology letter list but it’s big and scary, nontheless.

Continued on from our much earlier study of slavery with the film Amazing Grace (good trailer there) last night. Fantastic film – we all enjoyed it and marvelled at how Daniel recognised the MPs of the time – obviously actors done up to look really like them. I had no idea that Wilberforce was involved in so many reform bills – a founding member of the RSPCA too. Also good from an educational view was how the events were put in perspective with other historical happenings such as the French revolution. Powerful film.
Beautifully pure laundry nuts... better for the planet and your skin... works out cheap too.
