skoool and sooup :)

This site looks like it’s going to be a very useful resource – skoool – just went through the Pythagoras (maths KS3) bit and it’s really good (thank you Paula).

Had our first meal from the new cooker – miso noodle soup – here it is cooking :D Can’t wait to get everything moved back in – it’s hard work running back and forth to the dining room looking for stuff all the time… should be finished this week.

Some gorgeous fungi popping up all over the woods now – these little ones were all shiny and wet which the photos haven’t really captured:

Lots of reading and art going on here – Charlotte’s avidly devouring HIVE 2, Dan’s still working his way through the Harry Potter series (nearly finished though), he’s also been poring over that map, finding all sorts of strange things for us to look for. They’ve both been practising the upside down drawing method with great results – should get back to our ‘lessons’ on that this week once the joiners have gone. I’m doing my usual several books at once thing, so to list: naked chocolate; picture perfect; the wicca bible; a juice book; alive in five. Finished Gone to Earth and loved it – the feeling of the divine in nature is always strong in me at this time of year and Mary Webb expresses it well… hmm… we may move on to Precious Bane (an all time favourite) after Celestine – been on the modern stuff a bit now… will see what everyone thinks :D
