in the garden

not quite on the scale and lavishness of Kildrummy, but we have some lovely things happening in our own one :)

marigolds coming out

The snapdragon below is from last year. It kept flowering all through the winter house viewings bringing a little splash of colour to the old garden – and now it’s coming out again, feels like an old friend :) Muddy clothes from yesterday drying in background… another of my stellar laundry-backed photos…

pots of lovlies...

Nicola gave me these next two individuals for the garden:

frog prince - kissing hasn't yeilded any results as yet...

fairy - about the size of a very small child

and just to prove that is a very good idea not to weed too dilegently (or hardly at all):

foxglove and poppies

Daniel’s pumpkins almost breaking out of the cold frame now:

 happy pumpkins

flowering sage

Were getting salads from the garden now:

rows of cut and come again lettuce, romaines, spinach and chard

Buddha and delphiniums - always seems to be a white glare on him in photos...

big tadpoles on shallow step

they do have back legs now but they couldn't be captured on film without infringing their personal freedom!

What's under that bush?

love them
