frogs again

Education Failures are a National Tragedy from the Telegraph (seen at aspie home education – such a wonderful source of news!) – some straight talking, no misuse of the word excellence at all!

Thank you Cherryann for sending us this elements vid from teachersTV – we all enjoyed that :) Lots of other interesting stuff on there – watched some of the ‘how to deal with the constant low level disruption’ ones. Not that they apply to us anymore but it’s a reminder of the ‘learning environment’ weve left behind.

The weather has just been amazing – doesn’t seem like April at all. Weve all been making the most of it, including the frogs:

Look in the centre of this pic – see that brown leaf debris at the edge of the pool? Not debris at all…

frogs!

eight of them piled up there

This is their favourite sunning spot…

They eventually tired of me taking pics and all leapt into the pond together. Put me in mind of the song except they weren’t on a speckled log :)

first one to jump back up 5 minutes later

Their offspring are now all over the ponds swimming and wriggling :)
