flood and fire

We watched this great little film thing on the Fibonacci Sequence here from Brain Pop (saw this at Aspie Home Education) and Daniel has been learning Japanese with this CD Rom lent by friends – great fun with the games.

Yesterday’s floods in the woods and today’s trip to a Wickerman festival… mouseover for little comments :)

a river where there's usually a path

throwing large sticks

wickerman

and again - think the wind had tilted him a bit...

met a witch

and a Roman ghost

and then came upon the dead at the top of the hill

this faceless death was a funny character - here just before leaping up to scare us...

Charlotte looks all ready to appear in Star Wars - actually ready for paintball

Davie and Charlotte armed with paint

admired this rather game grandad's mullet

fires lit for firewalking later - we were too tired and cold to stay for that

wickerman burning

turned the flash off to capture the rain of sparks we were all showered in (fire engine on standby)

more interesting effects - I like the colours...
