Great article here (you can watch the news item there too and see some of the animation) about a 14 year old home educated boy who has turned down work with the makers of Wallace and Gromit as he’s too young. That’s someone on the way to their ideal career anyway! Have read research (pos. Paula Rothermel?) showing that HE kids are much more likely to end up in work they really love and care about than their schooled counterparts. Also more likely to work in areas about improving and changing things – environment, helping people etc.
In my excitement playing estate agent yesterday (referencing old post not up now) I omitted our rather over filled room – can’t have that, love this room so:


Squashes grown at Findhorn - a spaghetti squash (any ideas what to do with this?) and a turkish turban one which we ate last night in a sauce. Was very difficult to peel and deseed but did taste nice:
