So Dan and Charlotte have been unloading washing machines and hanging laundry out, cleaning and baking a bit less aided than usual – they’re so pleased to have me as a mother sometimes, I can tell ;) Other than that weve all been reading lots out in the sun I’ve finished another one of these – may be developing some kind of dependency - and listening to the rain on the roof of the tent (very mellow). Charlotte won a Simpson’s Uno set from a competition in a magazine (that child seems to have a charmed life in things like this) – spent a while playing that, lots of lovely adding up of scores, and we watched Witness as a follow on to our study of the Amish way of life. Love that film – spotted a young, blond, Amish Viggo Mortensen in it too – very nice
