Kids rediscovered their mini radios yesterday in the car – well one of them minus headphones. Today they are the in thing. Worksheets and runic writing obtained at Archaeolink were done while listening to Radio 1 (Charlotte) and Classic FM and a Gaelic radio station (Daniel).
Dan raked out ‘Weapons and Armour‘ and we looked through it – fitted very well with the flints, axe heads and sword of yesterdays tour. Lovely things from later in the day below – cake recipe here, same as the one from the birthday last week, and the rhododendrons are just breath-taking just now in the park. Can’t get over the complete lack of coldness – it’s lovely, feels like being on holiday
