old railway

Had a really nice day with friends yesterday – went out for lunch to a local pub that is better than most for vegans and then on to browse the garden centre. Saw some children from the village school who were rather cheeky and rude to my kids but well, we can’t all be blessed with good social skills or even basic manners I suppose! Dan and Charlotte found it quite amusing actually – stuff like that is not so upsetting when you’re not forced to sit with the culprits all day. I was so busy inspecting the new willow cone thing for my sweet peas to climb that I actually missed the incident and heard about it later.

This afternoon we explored the old railway station at Maud and took a long walk along the old track. The old railway bridge that we climbed up onto today.
