ladybird

Couldn’t help myself in the end – I had to make something seasonal. Recipe very similar to this except I used spelt flour.

Not exactly going out like a lamb then – it’s really cold. We saw our first ladybird a couple of days ago in the woods though – look very hard in the picture below and you may (vaguely) see it too! Some sweet magnetic French words for the fridge arrived and weve had some fun with those. Quite basic but good practice. Children wrote out French colours in their colours if you see what I mean. Charlotte’s written to her penpals – it’s great to see how she enjoys this now, thinking up interesting things to say. It used to be considered a bit of a chore like schoolwork. Dan has researched allsorts on the internet as per usual. This is the last day of term up here, and I think other places too. Makes me feel we should be doing Easter activities and giving out chocolate eggs (2 weeks before Easter) – it’s possible I have been irrecoverably damaged by working in schools :(
