knitted digestion

Yes it was delicious, decorated with Whizzers mini eggs and some soya cream – this is Davie’s bit, I was very good and had a small piece.

It’s been another quiet day. Walked Toby, kids did a little blogging and Charlotte and I made a chocolate tofu cheesecake which she then wrote up in her recipe book. Basically we whizzed up some biscuits and mixed them with some melted marg. for the base. The topping was a packet of silken tofu, some cocoa, sunflower oil, sugar and a little vanilla extract all blended together. Baked for about half an hour then chilled. Should be yum after our dinner of various salads tonight (balance: raw and healthy main though it is going to include potato salad with Plamil mayo and fresh chives, calorific pudding though still high in nutrients :) . This is becoming a bit of a food obsessed post really – strange how when you’re trying to be really good about food and exercise (that extra half stone is not going to be staying!) food becomes extremely interesting. Weve also all had a good jump around on the trampoline now it’s finally dry out there.

Found this quite funny – Knitted Digestive System – such a lovely combination of craft and biology! There’s other rather interesting items on some of the other pages too – might not want your children to see them all though so look yourself first!
