Had a busy morning – meditation of being a star, yoga, pilates and the ball were shared out among us. Then we did some study on the stomach. Took Jock apart again, looked at and read all through the stomach page in this book of Daniel’s and coloured in and read the appropriate page in these colouring books – advanced stuff! Talked about how long different foods take to digest and mono-eating. All made porridge together for lunch – bit of an odd lunch but the children had asked how it was made. Sent it down the esophagus into the stomach
In the afternoon we painted some sun catchers from a painting set Charlotte got for Christmas from Nicola – was good fun. Hopefully they will capture some sun for us
Funny, gloopy glass paint – a different technique required. Have some jars soaking to remove labels for more freestyle experimentation. Children also both played around on the higher levels (activities as it calls them) of Daisy Maths.
