Halloween – look Google has decorated itself! Had a really good party yesterday. Kids enjoyed my spooky treasure hunt and bobbing for apples but really pretty much amused themselves after that. **Met some nice new friends 
Much fun was had outside on the trampoline in the dark. Us adults talked a lot as usual.
Today I have searched Google and found various maths and English activities with a Halloween theme. I also have plans to play Magic Cauldron and Creepy Castle. Plans thrown slightly askew by the fact it is a glorious sunny morning. The kids are having a great time outside in the sunshine on the trampoline playing a game of their own. Winters coming – how many more mornings will there be of sunshine? So my games may have to wait… they can be played anytime, even over into the evening – lovely adaptability of home ed.
PM Well all activities completed and enjoyed. It turned out to be rather a lot more work than I had realised. Everyone was keen to do it all though – amazing how a few witches, ghosts and pumpkins enliven decimals and spelling! Clouding over now so really glad I let them get the good of the sun in the morning. Had lovely Sweet potato and tomato soup for lunch topped with Simpsons pasta – extremely filling.
Beautifully pure laundry nuts... better for the planet and your skin... works out cheap too.
