Carved the pumpkins today – good fun. Daniel was much more confident with this type of project than I have ever seen him. Hope the ‘scared to make mistakes’ legacy of school is leaving him (all stems from the same atrocious teacher he had in P2 and P6 – people like that should not be allowed near children – shouting at kids with dyscalculia for getting sums wrong = a crime, certainly a reason to sue – bitter outpouring for the day . Scraped out plenty flesh so there will be soup again.
