All did a big tidy up in the garden yesterday. The children did lots of pruning and tidying of pruned bits. I cut the grass and tidied away summery things like garden chairs – all looks so much better. Charlotte has been having some fun designing schools or wings of schools on the unteachables site. She designed several very sensible ones though struggled to keep them in budget. Then with my own bad influence (well I have to provide this surely??? Can’t let her miss out on bad influences…) she did a splendid one filled with trampolines and water coolers!
Today, after some workbook activities we made pipe cleaner animals – very fiddly but quite good fun. Had a look at sun (no, not directly!) to see solar eclipse but really couldn’t see any difference. Maybe were too far North – it was only a partial one in Britain. Were all going to make hummus and veggie wraps for lunch today… off to have those now
